Qualifications Summary

Warren Cavanagh is the President of CI Professional Services, Inc. and Terrapin Testing, Inc.  In this capacity, Warren monitors the quality assurance and inspection functions related to the manufacture of building components, and the physical testing associated with product approvals.  Warren has worked in the building industry since the mid-1950’s in both the public and private sector.  His vast experience includes:

§         Manager of a corporation involved in research, development and fabrication of laminated products oriented towards the construction industry,

§         Head of a building and planning department for city government,

§         Product Development Engineer involved in the design and development of new products for the sandwich panel industry,

§         Regional sales manager for patio room enclosures for manufacturers in the Southern California area to the Nevada border,

§         Family-business owner involved in civil engineering, structural testing and quality assurance functions for construction and manufacture of factory-built housing components.

Warren began his sandwich panel experience as the General Manager of National Panel Wall (NPW) in the mid-1970’s.  During his tenure with NPW, Warren secured the first ICBO ES approval for sandwich panels.  

After NPW was sold, Warren started his own business, CI Professional Services, a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Agency for the patio enclosure industry.  HISTORY

Warren has always stayed on top of the code sections which pertain to the industry and has been involved with the restructuring of the codes to better the pre-fabricated building component industry.  He has also worked tirelessly to assist clients in obtaining approval with the code authorities.
