Terrapin Testing, Inc. (TT) is a specialized testing laboratory focused on structural testing of insulated sandwich panels and pre-manufactured building components. This focus enables us to concentrate on your specific product testing goals. In-house structural engineering allows us to tailor the scope of testing to meet the unique needs of each product. Real-time engineering feedback during testing allows us to work with our clients to modify and streamline the testing process, reducing unnecessary testing costs. Our detailed understanding of the structural insulated panel industry and each specific product goal ensures that we provide testing data which is meaningful and relevant. TT was formed in 1997 to further develop the structural testing services previously provided by CIPS. TT is qualified as a testing laboratory by ICBO ES (TL-159). Warren Cavanagh, P.E. serves as President and Rick Cavanagh serves as Vice President in charge of operations. Warren’s industry leadership in design, fabrication and testing of structural insulated panels provides a strong company foundation. Rick provides a combination of fabrication and structural testing experience with business administration and actuarial study expertise, assuring your test results are accurate and traceable.
