Qualifications Summary

Terence Cavanagh is the Secretary/Treasurer of CI Professional Services, Inc. and Terrapin Testing, Inc.  He is also Vice-President of TJC and Associates, Inc., a structural engineering firm.  Terry has over 17 years experience as a structural engineer and provides an invaluable source of engineering knowledge for the ever-changing aspects of the pre-fabricated building component industry.

Terry has been exposed to the sandwich panel industry since the mid-1970’s when he worked on a laminating line for National Wall Panel (NWP).  His experience over the years provided a foundation for interpreting test results to provide useful engineering recommendations for products used in the patio enclosure industry.  Furthermore, Terry’s experience allows him to provide our clients with valuable recommendations for product improvements.

His many functions in the companies include:

§         Expanding the scope of the testing laboratory to provide more assistance to current clients and future clients.  

§         Staying current with recent code changes that affect the test procedures for the manufacturers.

§         Advising clients of the structural affects of the products that are manufactured and the pertinent code sections.

Terry has worked with numerous clients to obtain code approval for sandwich panels, patio rooms and adhesives.
